Perennial Freight favorites, Barry and Alice Olivier grace our stage with a heartwarming evening of new songs, haunting harmonies, elegant guitar playing and a fabulous repertiore including Alice's beautiful, intimate originals as well as contemporary and back-country folk songs. Along with some outrageous jokes, there'll be plenty of unique recollections from Barry, the guy who first taught guitar to Creedence Clearwater Revivalist John Fogerty, and then created the legendary Berkeley Folk Festivals of the 1960s. Back-porch informality and rousing chorus songs tie the whole evening together -- with proceeds benefiting the Freight's fund for its new facility.
