The Jeb Brady Band and Friends present an evening of blues demonstrating the various sources and evolution of this American art form. Taking up where they left off in his last performance at the Freight, Jeb and co. play classic blues, gospel, Kansas City and electric Chicago Blues, in a chronological survey of the many styles that make up this important roots-based music.
Jeb Brady has played all these forms in a thirty year career playing with and learning from blues greats, Percy Mayfield, Mark Naftalin and Sonny Rhodes. Jeb sings, plays guitar and harmonica and is joined by band members, Gary Bauman (Guitar), Mike Hammerstrom (bass), Tony Jimenez (percussion), Steve Shuster (horns), and Wendy Fitz (piano and vocals) along with many friends in what is sure to be an exciting and illuminating performance.
