Bay Area harmonica virtuoso Norton Buffalo is a deep, soulful musician and the undisputed jaw-droppingest mouth harp player around. (As the Salt Lake Tribune put it, "To say that Norton plays harmonica is on the order of calling Miles Davis a trumpeter.") A brilliant showman and superb singer, as well as a harp blower with an incredible command of nuance and improvisation, Norton is one of the most versatile and talented harmonica players in music today. Acclaimed in rock, R&B, country, and jazz circles, his outstanding recording and performing career includes a long stint as a member of the Steve Miller Band, as well as work with musicians as diverse as Bonnie Raitt, The Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, and Olivia Newton-John. Norton is also a prolific composer whose credits include Oliver Stone's film The Doors and several Peanuts cartoons, as well as numerous recordings including his recent solo blues album, King of the Highway (Blind Pig).
