The Portable Folk Festival, which included, Faith Petric, Jon Adams, Larry Hanks, the late Jim Ringer, the Sweet's Mill String Band, and Jon Wilcox, came together in the halcyon summer of 1971 to tour via 1947 converted school bus and play many of the major folk clubs, concert series and festivals, throughout the United States and Canada. This year's reunion concert will be a spirited and sentimental musical buffet, with the menu favoring old-timey, traditional, and topical balladry, flashy but tasteful fingerpicking, gorgeous singing, and gospel harmonies.
