Bob Norman exhibits a relaxed vocal style, adept guitar and harmonica playing, and a propensity for making his audiences sing. Former Editor-in-chief of Sing Out!, the nation's leading folk music magazine, and a mainstay on the folk circuit, the Connecticut native spent thirty years living in New York City and his graceful, compelling songs reflect the richness of his long-time home. Bob's latest album is Love, Lust and Lilacs. Tom Sauber and Mark Graham join forces for a rip-roaring, old-time slugfest. Tom, a southern Californian, at ease on banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and vocals, has been long associated with the most important figures in old-time music, and is particularly known for his partnership with Oklahoma fiddler Earl Collin. Mark, a harmonica player schooled in the melodic and rhythmic intricacy of Southern stringband music, plays in a powerful, blues-tinged style, and has mastered the hallmarks of traditional styles: fox chases, train impressions, and call and response accompaniment. A member of Kevin Burke's Open House, Mark's surreal mountain songwriting evokes Jethro and Homer and Dock Boggs, and his songs have been covered by the Austin Lounge Lizards and Bryan Bowers. Tom and Mark have recently released their first duo album, Thought I Heard it Blow.
