Lucy Kaplansky, with guitarist Nina Gerber, applies her sumptuous voice and charming presence to songs that work their way deep into the heart. Ranging from folk and country to roots-rock, the imagery and emotion of her original lyrics combine with the power and texture of her voice to create an illuminating evening. Lucy who toured with Dar Williams and Richard Shindell as the trio, Cry Cry Cry, recently released her fourth solo album, Every Single Day (Red House), and sings one of her favorite songs of all time, "It Ain't Me Babe," on the the Bob Dylan tribute album, A Nod to Bob.
