Join Sligo county fiddler Oisín Mac Diarmada and bodhran player Tristan Rosenstock of the famed traditional Irish band, Téada, in celebrating the season at a very special Christmas performance! In addition to the lively music of this masterful young duo, the program of seasonal Irish culture features renowned Kerry singer/accordion player Séamus Begley, youthful dancer Brian Cunningham, Irish harpist Gráinne Hambly, and uilleann piper Tommy Martin. An atmospheric journey through outstanding Irish music, stories, and solstice celebrations, the lively evening includes sing-alongs and the exhilarating rhythms of Brian's old-style step dancing, mingled with the contemporary artistry of the first-class musical lineup.

Oisín and Tristan play stylish, intelligent music, its sense of fun balanced by moments of subtle delicacy. Add to this Séamus' superb vocals and accordion playing, Tommy's uilleann piping, and Gráinne's graceful harp, and the performance is nothing short of irresistible.

An accompanying CD, Irish Christmas in America, is also available.
