resurgent folk-rock
Jeremy Dion opens
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $18.50

Riding atop the current wave of resurgent folk-rock, Altanta-based David Berkeley has gained critical acclaim and a loyal following with his soulful, melodic voice and the vivid poetry of his songcrafting. Earthy, tender, and unpredictable, his lyrics are full of reflective moments, enticing details, and emotional impact, whether they're panoramic historical studies or intimate life portraits. As Creative Loafing magazine put it, "Berkeley crafts his songs like watercolor paintings. Intimate and introspective, his gentle yet colorful melodies are graceful and resonate long after the last note fades."

A recent recipient of ASCAP's prestigious Johnny Mercer Songwriter Award, David had a song from his acclaimed second album, After the Wrecking Ships, featured on the CBS television miniseries, Without a Trace, His most recent CD is Strange Light.

Progressive folk rock artist, Jeremy Dion opens.
