original songs on the indie-pop edges of americana
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | WE ARE SOLD OUT OF ADVANCE TICKETS FOR THIS SHOW

San Francisco's Blame Sally returns to the Freight stage for an evening of passionate, potent songs new and old, including tunes from their new CD, Severland (Ryko). Emotionally charged, highly melodic, and irresistibly compelling, the powerhouse quartet—individually, Pam Delgado, Renee Harcourt, Jeri Jones, and Monica Pasqual—makes music with a truly distinctive sound. All four women are exceptional songwriters, instrumentalists, and vocalists, and in performance they switch off lead vocals and trade instruments, creating music marked by funky, melodic rhythms, skilled instrumentation, and beautiful, intricate harmonies.

Famed on their San Francisco home turf, Blame Sally have gained an ever-growing following over the seven years since they formed their band. Their most recent accomplishment is seeing their catchy anti-war anthem, "If You Tell a Lie," spend months with the second highest number of downloads on the protest-video chart at Neil Young's famed Living With War website.
