red-hot mountain music
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $18.50

You can always depend on The Biscuit Burners to light a fire under it! Spotlighting tunes from their new CD, Take Me Home (Indidog), the Burners offer what they call "fiery mountain music." With highly skilled, innovative instrumentation, resplendent harmonies, and captivating original material, this foursome's unique material mingles their respect of traditional Appalachian music, their love of bluegrass and classic country, and their appreciation of music from the far corners of the world, notably Indian ragas and reggae.

Continuing to build their reputation as one of the hottest young bluegrass acts around, the Burners—Mary Lucey (acoustic bass), Bill Cardine (resophonic guitar), Dan Bletz (acoustic guitar), and Odessa Jorgensen (fiddle)—have appeared on BBC World TV's Destination Music, NPR's Mountain Stage, and XM’s Bluegrass Junction.
