Yodeler, songwriter, rancher, and world-famous "Yahooer," Wylie Gustafson is just about as country as a man can possibly get. Serving up an energetic blend of western swing, cowboy, folk, and classic country music, Wylie lets loose and belts out mournful ballads, honky-tonk stompers, and amazing yodels brimming with the romance of the cowboy way. It's honest, soulful music, with a heart as big as the great outdoors, lit by Wylie's cheerful smile and amazing energy. He never stops moving on stage, swinging his lanky limbs and stomping his boots, bobbing to Ray Doyle's guitar, Josh Dreyer's drums, and the smooth pedal steel sounds of T. Scot Wilburn.
Both on and off his ranch near Dusty, Washington (population 11), Wylie maintains a busy schedule: he recently made his 50th appearance on the hallowed Grand Ole Opry stage, finished third place in the Open Class at the National Cutting Association Western National Finals on his trusty mount, Whiskey, and released his latest recording, Live at the Tractor.
. . . and, yes, you do hear his voice whenever you hear the yahoo.com yodel.
