a cappella brilliance
plus Lori Bob Rivera and Robert Bob Malone
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $19.50

The Bobs -- Richard Bob Greene, Matthew Bob Stull, Amy Bob Englehardt, and Dan Bob Schumacher -- are known for their incredible live performances, witty, tuneful, original material, and outrageous covers of classic songs. They present shows that are part theater, part comedy, part performance art, and thoroughly unique. Their a cappella "band without instruments" uses voices and body percussion to fill a room with an orchestra of harmonious sound as they present a repertoire that ranges from soulful to satire, amazing to moving, and familiar to unimaginable.

Formed in the Bay Area in 1981, the Bobs have sold out venues around the world, released 13 albums, earned four Grammy nominations, gained legions of adoring fans, and won just about every a cappella award that exists. The group celebrated the breadth of their illustrious career with the CD The Best of The Bobs: 20 Songs, 20 Years, which they recently followed up with the inimitable Rhapsody in Bob.

There's no such thing as too many Bobs, so tonight's show also features a guest appearance by former Bob, Lori Bob Rivera, and an opening set by aptly named pianist, singer and songwriter, Robert Bob Malone.
