Tonight this urban storyteller returns to the Freight for a long-awaited solo show, spotlighting songs from his new CD, Symphony in 16 Bars (Wildflower). Sophisticated, poignant, and direct, Kenny's piano-based, impressionistic folk rock songs combine haunting melody with acid observation, delivered with a sweet, vulnerable voice and leavened with wry humor.
