high energy bottleneck blues & folk
Door 7:30 P.M., Music 8:00 P.M. | Purchase advance tickets: $17.50

Gove Scrivenor's high-energy folk blues music features gutsy bottleneck guitar work tempered with gorgeous autoharp playing and beautiful original ballads, as well as a magical rapport with his audience. With a powerful, gravelly voice that's equally at home belting out blues and crooning love songs, this Connecticut native is notable for performances full of wit, emotion, and soul.

Gove's career, spanning over three decades, has included two albums, Solid Gove and Shine On, 12 years spent in Nashville as a successful songwriter and session musician, appearances on a host of venues including the acclaimed PBS music show, Austin City Limits, and performances with Doc Watson, John Prine, Emmy Lou Harris, Tom Paxton, and a host of others. As you might imagine, he's well worth listening to!
