Ever since her trailblazing efforts helped rewrite the rules of the music industry in the early seventies, Tret Fure has been a mainstay and guiding light for the Women's Music movement.

A singer, songwriter and gifted instrumentalist, Tret has been bringing her wit and passion to audiences throughout the world for the subsequent three decades. Known for her skilled guitar work, her warm, earthy vocals and her gift for writing lyrical vignettes, Tret mixes playful up-tempo tunes, disarming piano ballads, and poignant songs full of astute observations.

Since she left longtime partner Cris Williamson several years ago to embark on a solo career, Tret has, in her own words, "Moved back to my roots and closer to my essence," and her music continues to gain ever greater depth and richness of tone. Her latest CD is Anytime, Anywhere.
