One of Wales' foremost instrumental groups, Crasdant features four gifted instrumentalists who share both impeccable musical credentials and the goal of placing the Welsh instrumental canon alongside its Celtic brethren.
Mixing the unique talents of Robin Huw Bowen, Wales' best-known triple-harpist, with Stephen Rees' fiddle and accordion and Andy Mclauchlin's flute, whistles and pibgorn (Welsh hornpipe), the group further ups the ante by featuring the flamboyant Huw Williams, a guitarist and champion clogger. In concert and on albums like their recent Not Yet Saturday, Crasdant features a rich repertoire of beautiful Welsh tunes, arranged and played in their traditional form.
