The Stawbs performs inspired new songs and breathe fresh life into classic tunes from their days as an leading British folk-rock group. Pared down to three acoustic vocalist/guitarists, the group beautifully distills the energy of previously electrified classics like "Tears and Pavan" and "Ghost" with eloquent passion and precision, plus acoustic versions of songs from their current electric album, Deja Fou.
The group has spent the past few years getting back to their acoustic roots, with performances and an acclaimed album, Baroque & Roll (Witchwood). The trio features Strawbs founder, powerful vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter (and recent recipient of the British Classic Rock Society's Lifetime Achievement Award) David Cousins, charismatic guitarist and singer Dave Lambert, a member of the group since the early 1970s, and yet another great guitarist and bassist, Chas Cronk. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this group's superb songcrafting and excellent musicianship in an acoustic setting!
