An enigmatic singer-songwriter, master guitarist, and a powerful, evocative singer, Richard Shindell veers from the bitterly comic to the profoundly spiritual. In a departure from his past New York-based work, Richard recorded his latest studio album, this summer's Vuelta (Koch), in Buenos Aires with a local band, Puente Celeste: many intriguing new songs will surely be on hand tonight, along with plenty of Richard classics.
