Austin Willacy, accomplished songwriter and vocalist with Freight a cappella favorites the House Jacks, performs smart, muscular original folk rock songs including tunes from his recent album, page 7. Playing tasteful guitar and singing with a soulful, versatile tenor that has been compared to Lenny Kravitz and Stevie Wonder, Austin takes his listeners on a trip through a wide range of moods and textures, from tender and alluring to edgy, raw, and driven. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Austin studied psychology at Dartmouth College before moving to San Francisco. San Francisco singer-songwriter and pianist, Beth Waters is known for her mellow, compelling voice, emotional performances and her ability to write a contagious hook. Her live performances, as well as two albums (including a newly released, self-titled album), delicately blend muscular piano and beautiful voice with smart, deeply personal lyrics, creating a warm, spacious sound with a bittersweet edge.
