Corny jokes! Swingin' tunes! Cowboy crooning! Yodeling pyrotechnics! An evening with Sourdough Slim and the Saddle Pals brings you all this and much much more, as this top-notch trio breathes new life into the classic songs made famous in the '30s and '40s heyday of western music, with some terrific originals thrown in for good measure. The Freight's favorite sagebrush comic, Sourdough provides guitar, harmonica, rubber-faced mugging -- and some truly astounding, award-winning yodeling -- joined by Cactus Bob and his tasty traditional fiddle and mandolin playing, and The Prairie Flower's upright bass, banjo, and beautiful Patsy Montana-style singing. The fun, fast-paced show transports us to a whimsical world where vaudevillian camp and hot string band music intermingle, producing grins galore. A well-traveled veteran of stages ranging from The National Cowboy Gathering in Elko, Nevada to Carnegie Hall, Sourdough and his cohorts have also released some great albums like Western Skies, but you've just got to see them live. Saddle up and head on over!
