hot traditional bluegrass group celebrating
the release of their new album, Years Gone By

Join one of California's most exciting bluegrass bands in celebrating the release of their new album, Years Gone By. Powered by the memorable vocals and guitar of Del Williams, the band brings down the house with a sound that is fresh, yet steeped in the soul of Bill Monroe and the rhythmic feel of Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs.

Del joined his father in the Vern Williams Band after graduating from high school in Stockton, California, in the mid-1970s. The band toured the West Coast for 15 years, recording three influential albums, including two with country and bluegrass legend Rose Maddox.

Ed Neff, premier fiddler and mandolinist, and another alumnus of the Vern Williams Band, adds his fiery solo playing as well as an inimitable sense of rhythm and timing.

Rounding out the group are Avram Siegel, one of the most original banjo players to emerge from the Bay Area bluegrass scene, and acoustic bassist, Allison Fisher, whose solid energy is the perfect anchor to the band's overall feel and drive.
