Memphis-born singer who inspired a fervent cult following with his
self-titled Vanguard release in the early seventies, Bob Frank's
self-described "straight up authentic unadulterated American music" features
his rich vocals, beautiful lyrics, and natural storytelling ability. His
songs, which have been recorded by the likes of Chris LeDoux and Jim
Dickinson, display an uncanny knack for bridging the gap between the
personal and the universal. Tonight he performs songs from his new album,
Keep on Burning, running the gamut from ragtime to folk to TexMex to
blues, and just about every other point in between. |
