Three artists from that hotbed of songwriting talent, Nashville, bring great
musicianship and a formidable repertoire of hit songs to the Freight.
Much-awarded South Carolina native Chuck Cannon (including Academy of
Country Music 1993 song of the year for "I Love the Way You love Me" and
BMI's Million-Air Award for "Me Too"), an active champion of songwriters'
issues, is currently president of Nashville Songwriter's Association
International.
A native son of Memphis, Chuck Jones has melded diverse
influences from rock, pop, and soul into a huge
string of successful songs, recorded by everyone from Patti LaBelle and
Kenny Rogers to the Fabulous Thunderbirds.
Pam Rose's powerful voice and
sterling musicianship rival her
gift for writing songs like the chart-topping country hits "I'll Still Be
Loving You" and "Safe in the Arms of Love".
In an in-the-round performance,
Chuck, Pam, and Chuck combine their three voices and three guitars create an
intimate, behind-the-scenes atmosphere, trading Nashville stories, singing
beautiful harmony and playing each other's songs. |
