Shana Morrison, who began her singing career with her father, Van, in his Rhythm and Soul Revue, leads her tight acoustic quartet, Caledonia, combining Irish folk, r&b, country, and jazz. Phil Elwood, San Francisco Chronicle music critic, says of her, "She has a wide ranging voice that is both powerful and pure. Her vocal inflections, soaring melodic lines and sophisticated use of dynamics are impressive." Shana has recently released her second solo effort, Seven Wishes (Vanguard) as well as an album with bluesman Roy Rogers, Everybody's Angel (Roshan).
