Veterans of the Prairie Home Companion radio show, Robin and Linda Williams have deep roots in country music's traditional past. Coming from the rich musical heritage that claims Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family, the duo's originals are beautifully crafted with sweet, sailing harmonies, combining impeccable musical discipline with an utter lack of pretension. With Robin on guitar and Linda on banjo and guitar, their Fine Group includes Jim Watson, of Red Clay Rambler fame, on bass, and Eric Lewis on dobro, fiddle, and mandolin.
