Hollywood actor, author, storyteller, and comic, Darryl Henriques, living in Berkeley in the early 1980s, gained a loyal following for his work with the San Francisco Mime Troupe and the influential street theater performers, East Bay Sharks. His book, 50 Simple Things You Can Do to Pave the Earth (Ulysses), topped the charts shortly after he left town, and Darryl's credits in film, TV, and other life-impersonating situations include roles in Star Trek VI and The 13th Floor. More recently, last November Darryl was the candidate for president on the Publishing Clearinghouse Presidential Sweepstakes Party ticket. A master of stream-of-consciousness observation, tonight Darryl returns to his old Berkeley haunt, offering a glimpse of his unique comedic vision of the world.
