everybody's favorite holiday party band makes its annual Freight appearance

In more than a decade of gracing the Freight stage with their raucous revelry and funky, down-in-the-holler "jugbandizations" of seasonal favorites, the Christmas Jug Band, a tongue-in-cheek collaboration of some familiar rock and folk legends, has set the standard for holiday high spirits. Their repertoire runs the seasonal gamut, including "Somebody Stole My Santa Claus Suit," "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm," "Jingle Bell Rock," and much much more. While the band's recent CD, Rhythm on the Roof (Globe), is a hot companion to two previous issues, there is no substitute for a live concert! The entire outfit once again threatens to show up on our stage, including Tim Eschliman, Austin De Lone, Paul Rogers, Adam Gabriel, Lance Dickerson, Blake Richardson, and Jim Rothermel, playing washboard, washtub, bells, whistles, accordion, guitar, piano, bass, drums, and assorted reeds and brass.
