Tonight's Cavalcade features four of our most prominent boogie and blues piano players in an evening of acoustic solo and duo performances. Each player bring years of touring and performing experience to the stage. A native Kentuckian now living in the Bay Area, Caroline Dahl is an active soloist and ensemble player with groups such as Home Cookin' and Flambeau. Sue Palmer recently ended ten years of non-stop touring with Candye Kane, and is a major figure in the San Diego music scene. Wendy DeWitt, organizer of tonight's event, is known for her hard driving style and straight from the heart presentation. She appears regularly with the Steve Freund Band, and Hank Ballard & the Midnighters. Mark Braun, also known as Mr. B, is an electrifying performer and who studied as a teenager with the older generation of players, Blind John Davis and Little Brother Montgomery.
