Bay Area activist, Thunder, has organized tonight's program focusing on the spiritual aspects of Native American tradition and the central role of music in that tradition. Tonight's presentation features a performance by the renowned musicians participating in the Indigenous Peoples Day sunrise ceremony that takes place earlier in the day on Alcatraz Island, including Mike Bellanger, Thomas Yellow Horse, and Willie Lone Wolf, of the All Nations Singers, one our leading inter-tribal drum and chant ensemble.
